Rest & Relaxation

 

Over the years we have hosted gatherings of very different groups of people. Corporations have used our facilities to reward individual performances but also more relaxed management retreats.


Another common group of visitors are colleagues from a company or a club who decide to just have a fun week-end. The activities can be tailor made to fit the group, or a variety or combination if there are different interests within the group. Your imagination is the only limiting factor.

 

 


Examples of what we can offer:

 

A fun shoot with .22 calibre guns (supplied). The "scoring" can be modified to give a novice the same chance as an expert.

 

Fishing, of course, both summer and winter. Again, you can add an element of fun by having token prizes for, say, first fish, smallest fish or whatever surprise you want to add.

 

Nature tours. We use our ATVs with trailers to show the surroundings . We have  very interesting  forests which are never touched by man, but also recent forest harvesting  according to latest forestry practices. Different cut block layouts can be viewed as well as different silviculture practices.

 

On the same tours, or separate, we can view seismic exploration, gas wells and pipelines.


Of course, we will invariably encounter a lot of wildlife, which include a variety of birds and mammals and of course our resident bald eagle couple who have used the same nest for at least the last 20 years!

 

The hosting of these R&R events are scheduled between hunting seasons, summer or winter. Pricing is based on  number of guests and  how many nights.


We can accommodate up to 7 guests in the winter and with extra tent some 15 guests in the summer.
